** CHAPTERS BOOK STORE - MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO:
Chapters Book Store, located at
the Erin Mills Power Center, 3050 Vega Blvd., in Mississauga (the GTA), will be hosting a "meet and greet" in-store
signing event on Saturday November 28th from 11:00am-7:00pm. This special occasion will enable interested
readers to chat with the authors directly about their work and learn what had motivated them to
choose the legendary adult film superstar as the subject for their first collaborative effort.

CHAPTERS BOOK SIGNING EVENT - OTTAWA, ONTARIO:
"Inches" co-author Jill C. Nelson was on hand for this special book
signing event at Chapters Rideau Book Store on 47 Rideau St. Ottawa, in the Byward Market on Saturday May 23rd. The Ottawa appearance
for John Holmes: A Life Measured in Inches marks the second Canadian promotional date. Nelson chatted with
store patrons about the critically acclaimed biography and signed copies. The event was covered by SNAP Ottawa
downtown for their June publication.

CHAPTERS BOOK SIGNING EVENT - BURLINGTON,
ONTARIO:
This exclusive engagement
was hosted by Chapters-Indigo Book Store in Burlington, Ontario Canada, on April 18th 2009. Resident,
Jill Nelson, presented John Holmes: A Life Measured in Inches, prior to engaging in a Q&A and
signing copies of the book. Although the book's originator and Nelson's co-author, Jennifer Sugar, was
unable to attend, her presence was felt as Nelson read a short note written by Sugar that explained her inspiration for commencing
to write the first and definitive book about the adult film legend five years ago. The event (covered by TV Cogeco) was
followed by a wine and cheese reception.

ADULT ENTERTAINMENT EXPO 2009 - JANUARY
8-11TH!
Co-authors Jennifer Sugar and
Jill C. Nelson attended Adult Entertainment Expo Show 2009, at the Protecting Adult Welfare (PAW) booth, hosted by William
Margold. The convention was a tremendous success for the two first time authors who were available
throughout the entire event to meet with attendees, sign copies of their biography and take book orders. Special
guest, Ms. Laurie Holmes, joined Sugar and Nelson to mingle and reminisce with Golden Age fans and participated
in various interviews with the biographers.

EROTIC
HERITAGE MUSEUM BOOK SIGNING:
Inches co-authors, Jennifer Sugar and Jill C. Nelson were invited by special request to do a book signing at
the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas on Saturday January 10th, from 4-6 pm. Porn's renaissance man, William Margold,
read the book's foreward before turning things over to Ms. Laurie Holmes, who introduced Sugar and Nelson to the guests.
The biographers read excerpts from their book, followed by a Q&A session, including participation from Mr. Margold
and Ms. Holmes. Afterwards, Sugar, Nelson and Holmes greeted fans, signed copies of the biography and
posed for photos.
Select copies of A Life Measured in Inches (signed by all three
women) are now available for purchase in the gift shop at the Erotic Heritage Museum.

This exciting event opened up
with emcee and adult film historian, Bill Margold, who read the book's foreward, "Hardcore Martyr" before introducing
guest speakers, directors Cass Paley and Bob Chinn, to say a few words about John Holmes and the work of Sugar and Nelson.
Before reading from the new biography, hailed by critics as a comprehensive, definitive biography of The King of Porn, Sugar
read a letter from Seka, which introduced the final guest speaker, Laurie Holmes.
Ms. Holmes had appeared on the "Night Calls" show on Playboy Radio the previous
evening and endorsed the new biography about her late husband. She told the attending audience at Book Soup that
John Holmes: A Life Measured in Inches is a refreshing and thorough account of John Holmes'
life and that the authors recognized Holmes as a multi-faceted person.
Sugar and Nelson read book
excerpts, followed by a Q&A, before signing books for guests, friends and fans. Cake and wine was served.
Other special guests who attended the book gala and/or
the screening of the Holmes' classic film, Eruption, at the Silent Movie Theater that evening, were
Holmes' friends and photographers, Joel Sussman and Kenji, former director and girlfriend, Julia St. Vincent, directors,
Mark Novick and Alan Colberg, Holmes' former co-stars, Rhonda Jo Petty, Ron Jeremy and Don Fernando, former L.A.P.D. homicide
detective, Frank Tomlinson, psychologist, Dr. Vonda Pelto, and various members of the media.
